So what's your opinion of the new head Coach?

 

Honestly, I think he will be a good one. It's just that, in my opinion, this year's team isn't at the level of any THS team from about the past 10 or 11 years. On top of that they lack size and experience in the new formation. I would've loved to have seen this offense implemented several years ago.

Now that the dust has settled, perhaps there is someone out there that is willing to talk football. THS will figure this thing out. They always have..... and I don't think the trend will change. I know all of the great football minds out there understand the time it take to implement a new offense. In addition to the time for adjustments and positioning of personnel. I see some good things happening in the near future for THS. Sorry, but I must go rear view for a second......can you imagine the possibilities if THS had the knowledge to implement this offense about three years ago when athletes and speed was abundant. I,m out. And as always......speed kills

 

I would've loved to have seen the '09 or '04 team with this offense or even a couple of other teams in recent years for that matter, but not in their first year running it. Perhaps year 2 or 3

GC never beat the Vikings as a player. He has feasted on them as a coach. He's still coaching.

Indians get a much needed 2nd test for their beleaguered secondary. Vikings have enough team speed and rushing defense to keep it respectable. This used to be the game.

What about your team and DB this year?

It will probably be bout the same as your team and Maryville... only we're playing up a classification and you're simply hitting the Great Wall of Blount County.... again. You pick at the obvious outcome of this game but we both know in the big picture we have just about as good a chance at winning a State Title as DB does.

Go ahead and beat your chests for now because we all know you only have about four more weeks to do so before... well... you know. Same story EVERY year... except a couple of years ago when the Tribe got rolled 42 to 0 in the first round of the playoffs and had the LOSER 5-6 regular season. If I'm not mistaken (and correct me if I'm wrong)that was the same year Tennessee High won the first ever Big 8 Conference Title.

 

Cap1 - I hope your boys show up this year and don't roll over and play dead like they did last year. They quit and couldn't wait to get out of J Fred. Had to be embarassing for you. Hopefully they will show up and compete. How do you lose to Va High in football?

Hey Crap1, if you are going to mention the fact that TH won the Big 8 that season you also must mention that in the second round of the playoffs Tennessee High lost to Daniel Boone.
