Man if you are still up how does Dickson county come to quad 4 and are sure Craigmont is in

-----------------------------------------------------------

I assume Dickson gets in as a district 2 seed /

I too dont see how Craigmont gets in over Bartlett ..IMO the powers that be in Memphis figured out with Craigmont beating East would be enough to get them in ,,so East lost as they were in already ..and I aint jokin

I'd put Mo West right up there with those 4. Nobody has been able to run the ball on them yet. Their Defense has kept them in every game and their offense is starting to get on a roll.

These guys crack me up. Mo. West has played aschedule with 9 teams that had .500 or better records. These boys need to look past column 2 on the spreadsheet. Powell has played 4 teaams with winning records and their opponents won a total of 34 games. Powell may be (and I stress may) a paper Panther.

Jeff. Co. is in. The IMAC conference has Sevier Co. and Jeff. Co. in 6A playoffs. Also, Mo. West , Mo. East, Cherokee, Cocke Co. and South-Doyle in 5A. FOr you math challenged folks, that is 7 of the 8 teams in the playoffs.

How are the Murfreesboro schools situated throughout the city, from east to west? Would they go strictly by that even though it might help travel elsewhere, since they're not too far apart? Tough call by the playoff committee.

Geographically, Blackman is further West than Riverdale, Siegel, or Oakland. Only reason Blackman may end up in quad 2 is because it is close to interstate 24.'

You can look on the tssaa website for Class 6a maps to get an idea where all schools are located.

Didnt that happen to Riverdale last year. They went East because they were closer to the interstate?

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • No doubt. ORC a good dude.
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
