davidlimbaugh
A glaring example of how the new system is broke? Bartlett. http://www.tssaa.org/schdir/regionalstandings.cfm Finished 4th in the district. (2-3, 5-5) Did not make the playoffs Craigmont finished 5th in same district. (1-4, 5-5) They met last night and Bartlett won. So Bartlett has a better district record. Won head-to-head. Craigmont is in. Bartlett is out. They lose on the 4th tie breaker. 54-52 - opponents wins...

slagiatt
not really................neither should be in the play-offs. The present play-off system is designed for one thing only.............MONEY FOR THE TSSAA. We have a district champ that is a #1 seed in Middle Tn that should not even be in the play-offs. Any 5A or 6A out of Nashville is an absolute joke!!

Hoganknows
Sad Sad Sad...just not right. Wonder what TSSAA would say about this or the folks who voted this failed plan in 3 years ago....what a joke!!

Sure Antioch won thier district but the only loss Gallatin had this year was to 6A and district foe Mount Juliet. Seems a bit odd. I came into this area the final year off the old system. Out of couriousity was there this much confusion and aggrivation involved in the old system?

No , this new system was supposed to be a giant killer and help break the strangle hold that some of the more dominate teams had / have.
