Watched the vikings play uc. Very fast in the backfield both sides of the ball. Going to be a war. Wouldn't miss this game for the world. Dresden going for their 7th win on the road. We love playing away. Even better when we get half the gate. We look forward to seeing that power running game of the vikings. Very impressive. well coached, good athletes. Hope dresdenites show up with a few more people. The few that showed up this week were amazing! Best crowd of the year. The loud crazy guy was hilarious! Keep it up....the few, the loud, the INSANE LION POSSY. lol

We know one person that won't be there and that is the Dresden Defensive Coordinator. Now that was insane! What was he thinking? Throwing an officials flag into the stands is crazy and it made him look like an absolute idiot. Glad to see that show of great sportsmanship laast night!!!

Agree that it was a bad move by the coach. However, I don't expect it to be a factor. Dresden is a good football team, and they may even be more fired up with their coach not there...."playing for the coach" so to speak...but they are playing well and are on a roll. We will have our hands full. Humboldt needs to have a good week of practice so that we avoid sluggishness after a bye. Go Vikes!!!!

I agree Dresden has a good solid football team. The Vikings have to much depth and team speed for the Lions. It will be close for maybe a quarter or two thats about it.Humboldt wins big!

Let's not underestimate Dresden. Many said these same things about McKenzie, and look at how Dresden handled them!

As for our pregame warmups, thanks for the compliment, hog. We try to keep things entertaining from pre-game to post-game! :thumb:

Looks like this maybe a seasons end dinner... Humboldts too big in the trenches on both sides of the ball, not to mention the two fullbacks/linebackers (#30 #32) both about are about 5'11 220. Then Humboldts MASSIVE Dlinemen/TE Bryson, #41 is about 6'4 265 and can run down tackles!

Never been to a humboldt home game. Any advice on parking or getting there from dresden? any good places to eat? And...can you send us a playbook?

A couple of nice spots to eat, and Humboldt's easy to get around.

If you come from Milan make a right at the first stop light and a right at the second.

If you come from Trenton make a left at the first stop light and a left at the second.

Parking ‘s good either in front of the stadium or behind the visitors side of the stadium where the visiting team busses usually park.

Places to eat: Kappis has a great seafood buffet starting about 4pm, Wall Street is great to order from the menu.

Was impressed with the FB's. 41 is big, but against UC he wasn't a factor. We have a 5'9 155 lb tackle that thinks he's 7 foot tall. Good matchup. Big in the stomach doesn't amount to strong or fast. Better bring their A game. Did we mention our TE is 6'5 220 lbs of muscle. 4 new o lineman and a new quarterback. Dresden is just now learning to play as a team. Expect a pounding for 4 quarters, not UC's 1 quarter.

Humboldt fans, if you can't make it to the game on Friday, it will be broadcast live on WTGP 97.7fm. Stan Gerard will provide the the play by play coverage of what is shaping up to be one of the premier games in the state this coming Friday. The pregame show will begin at 6:30 and the kickoff is at 7pm. You can also listen in via the internet at Dresden at Humboldt football link. The link will become active right when the pregame show begins.

Remind your friends and family the Humboldt playoff football will be on the radio!

I hope you enjoy the broadcast.
