strongx
Billy Blunt has really turned it around. Good players + good coaching = WINS Has anyone seen the jr at hairtage throw that made last yrs' USA national team? How has he looked? hsballfan
Clifton is the jr at Heritage. I think he can be special if he finds consistent control. I saw him twice this yr and he doesnt throw as hard as they say in a game. However he is very good hs pitcher for his age. With control and more weight on his frame...who knows. He looked pretty good at Catholic last night but didn't get much help either from his defense or bats. He hit 90 several times according to the gun in front of me. REBELRON
Since Dalton Curtis came back from arm troubles Maryville has played well.
hsballfan
Curtis who can hit upper 80's is tough to beat and in my opinion the most dominant in county. Tyler Troutt who I hear was clocked at 86-87 the other night has great control and movement. He is next on my list and brings it from the left side. Clifton who throws in 90's is my number 3. He can definitely bring it but struggles with control. Speed doesnt make you the best but if he can find control consistently...watch out. Congrats to these 3 for great years! AlCoA
Very bad news for Alcoa as they head into the tournement as Austin Morgan(soph.) has tommy john surgery. He could have really helped Alcoa as being that extra pitcher with a blazing fastball. He wouldnt have outpitched Troutt or Waters, but having an extra pitcher with his speed could have really helped Alcoa in the long run in the district tourny.
