Deion24
Well, I said 49-14 would be the final...can we have a scoreless 4th since the "mercy rule" is in effect? Oh, and I am still waiting on my apologies!
mcwrestler
I feel bad for Milan. They just weren't up to the competition and they are overmatched across the board. I'm sure they have given it their all, but this one was over when it kicked off.
harley04
CAK is a Heck of a football team, congrats
Deion24
Oh...and I forgot! A certain CAK daddy owes me a dinner! LOL! I told you guys what would happen! Congrads to Milan for getting there...that says a lot regardless of champ game score. Congrads to CAK on #1! - I hope and predict it ends there though! Alcoa is 3A state champs in 2012! thedawg44
cak is an awesome team with an awesome qb. ya'll will definitely be the big dog on the block in 3a for the next couple of years unless ya'll go to d-II WHICH IS EXACTLY WHERE YOU SHOULD BE.no way milan will ever compete with the privates and open zones unless we open our zones up. hard to pull gold ball talent from a town of less than 7800 people. pretty easy to do it when you live in or next to a city of 200,000 plus. i know i'm gonna catch grief for this but i don't care because it's the truth and the privateers and OZ'S know it's the truth and i'm THEDAWG so put that in your peace pipe and smoke it. i'll try not post any more unless some idiot really tics me off. congrats milan on a great season that a lot of people didn't expect. you've got 4 silver balls but you've also got 4 gold balls. not bad for a little ole team from a little ole town in the great state of tennessee. CPA4Ever
Congrats to CAK after years of good play but not being able to get over the hump (Alcoa). Very impressive win. Good year by Milan but no answer for CAK's passing game. High should be a big time prospect next year. What surprised me was the size and skills of CAK's linemen. There will be lots of good 3A teams next year that were young this year with CAK premier among those. Alcoa, CPA, Milan, Cheatham Co. to name just a few. plumb69
What a performance by High. Great win CAK. Congratulations to Milan on a great season that adds to the Bulldog tradition. The night belongs to CAK though who may be cranking up a new tradition.
Tornadopride
Congrats to Milan on another great season. I know the Silver ball isn't what you wanted but getting to the finals is awsome. I will say this....Milan is the team to usually beat in West Tennessee year in and year out. The tradition that program has is...well the best. Milan has NOTHING to hang their heads about. You were beaten by a very well coached and talented football team tonight in CAK. A very good team that clicks on all cylenders can make a good team look bad on any night and Milan just never had a chance to get the train rolling. I still say schools like CAK or ANY private school statewide should play their own league and has no place playing public schools. They should have to play up even higher in classification in my book but that is a different subject. Congrats again from the Union City folks....til next year. jake
CONGRATS CAK. Wow, what a whipping. Going into the game, Milan was glad to be facing CAK instead of Alcoa, but by mid 3rd quarter I think they were probably wishing they were facing Alcoa and their run game instead of CAK's passing game. FOOTBALLDAD, sorry to see your son get hurt...I hope he has a full recovery, he is a heck of a football player.
ETF
Milan decorates the christmas tree for the 4th straight year with SILVER BALLS. We give those things away in East Tennessee.
Deion24
don't see alcoa beating this team for a couple of years. jmo. The question is will we see Milan next year in state game? I really believe it will be Alcoa in 2012, but definately Alcoa or CAK one!Its not a matter of private or open...its the conditioning and style of play we put into this. Remember, it was a few of us that said if it wasnt Alcoa, that CAK would beat you too!
