Glad to hear there was a great turnout for the Warriors and Coach Mac. Marion is a PROUD program with a tremendous amount of tradition. You could count on Coach Zig doing what was best for the program

Old Pirate says folkes should finds out jest what is going to happen for long. Figure the coach may have to coach 1st year w/o pay for the mess round the court house.....lol...jest dang rite comical a hearing Jasper's moan & groan round the watering hole.

I was down at Foodland this morning stocking up on some more fudge rounds and a man told me that Childress man was in Marion County yesterday doing some investigating. I garuntee you this McCurry man is in trouble. If their was any other coaches was involved that Childress man will get them to. Does that Zieglar man not monitor what goes on? If he knew about this mess and didnt do anything about it, that Childress man will get him to. They should all not get paid for doing this mess. You think im joking but im not.

Do you realize what you just wrote? You were talking about 6-4 and 7-3 records. That won't fly very long. That is exactly why Boeck is gone along with getting hammered into the ground by SP and the final straw was getting whipped by L.V. and beat by Copper Basin.

I've known Coach Mac since his time at Moore County. I'll bet he won't be anywhere near as bad as 1-9. More like 6-4 or maybe even 7-3...

Old Pirate is a wondering if he knew the rules back when? Figure he's been doing the same type coaching where ever he has been. Ain't likely he suddenly come down with alshiemers..

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
