Why is no one mentioning North Greene? They were state runner up and from what I remember had a very good Freshman guard. I know that Lake and Jackson should be at the top of the list, most likely, but North Greene should probably be mentioned somewhere on here.

As for Single A west TN, I think that Huntingdon and Lake Co. will be representing the west barring that they don't play each other in the region semi's. From what I heard, and this hasn't gotten much public notice, but a girl from Huntingdon dropped 50 points in one of their games a couple of weeks ago.

They lost to Chuckey Doak twice and Doak was blowed out by Unicoi twice. Cloudland is 10 points better than Unicoi.

North Greene has a tough road back to Murfreesboro. They graduated the great point guard Mariah Britton. Mendy McNeese, the freshman that lit up the state tournament last year, blew out her knee in a recent game and will miss the season. They may rally around post Lakken Morrow, but I do not think they have enough guard play to get back to the Boro this year.

Jackson has to be bumped just for the fact they have lost 2 out of their last 3 game if I am not mistaken. Even though it was to quality opponents who are very dang good that's just the way it works. I will give them credit where credit is due,They play in one of the toughest districts in Tennessee,Plus they play a brutal non conference schedule which IMO has them battle tested for when they get to Murfreesboro. there is legitly 4 to 5 teams in this state that are pretty much my favorites for shoe-ins to go to Murfreesboro.

1.Lake County-Has the Flowers girl back with a very strong supporting cast,The only thing that worrys me is if they can knock down outside shots.

2.Cloudland-To much size and scoring ability on the inside and outside to matchup with not to mention their Substate game will more than likely be a cake walk.

3.Jackson County-Their early schedule of competition will have them ready for anybody that crosses their path.

4.Clay County or Clarkrange-Both teams are loaded from top to bottom unfortunately there can be only 2 teams advance and Jackson will be one of them.

5.Cosby-They are the best team out of district 2 their biggest test will be in the regional semis if they can get past that game you can pencil them in because the top 3 in district 1 are much better than anyone in that other region or district.

I believe JC is the better team in region 4, but over the course of the past year I believe Crange and Clay has improved more than JC has from last year.
