I certainly appreciate the kind words for our Parks dept. Wavegrad, Storm, and Redsman. Anthony Thompson does the majority of the work on that field now. The Braves would be glad to have him.

Thanks for the kind words guys... Most people really do not understand the Uphill battle of the 3 or 4 ball field workers fight to have decent fields...That is right AT and Troy Martin do most of the work on every field at Municipal Park.. Thats a 2 man Crew..Mr. Bruce has 2 supervise both parks..The fields are as good as they really can be considering the Lack of Resources and Money that is provided.. As for Station Camps field, the Gallatin Parks Dept was responsible for getting their baseball field ready to play..I'm sure most have forgot about that..But they spent Countless hours out there working on their field a few years back..

Instead of trying to blame the parks dept. the administration needs to fix the real problem. Why a baseball coach would cancel a game because he's worried his athletes might be focused more on prom instead of district tournaments. Why would you kill the momentum coming off a win Friday night? They are athletes focused on baseball, not girls with hair and nail appointments! Way to ice your own players coach.

Gallatin may have played their two best games of the year tonight. In the first game they beat Hendersonville, Jones for Gallatin pitched his best game of the year, solid defense and timely hitting helped the Wave advance to the second game if the night.

Gallatin could not manage many hits in the second game against SC, Haeberle pitched well for SC and Replogle also threw a really good game for the Wave. Tonight SC had a few more hits than the Wave and those hits turned into runs. The Wave could not push anything across the plate in the second game.

Good luck to Coach Ballard and Coach Jones, continue to win.

Good luck and best wishes to the SR's on the Wave this year, you now are alumni of the Wave continue to support the Wave when ever possible.

Two very good teams playing for high school district championship, lots of fun to come! Glad to see SC come out of that side, but they cant beat MJ this year.

Da Bears!

Agreed, MJ is coming around with the bats and the defense and pitching has been there from the start. I look for MJ to beat SC Wednesday night.
