Dawg05
tHE BEST TEAM IN THE STATE FOR ALL THE SEASON WAS LAKE CO.Lake Co lost but didnt lose by 21 points If Lake Co. was the best team in the state then they would have been able to hold a lead in the 4th quarter. Clay Co. and Jackson Co. had good teams. Lake Co. had 1 great player and some pieces. That's why they lost. Get over it.

Them Lady Dawgs played tough and run the table in the 'Boro. Get over it. There is always next season.

score3
I'll say it this year like I said it last year. Better not count out the Lady Mustangs of Loretto.
Tornadopride
Union City WILL be back. Loaded with sophomores this year, and a junior...look for U C to also get back another player who was very good and had to sit out the remainder of this season. Union City should make a showing the next two years in a row. This was U C Girls first ever trip and for as young as they were..they did a real good job of making the Final Four and Regional Champs over a team that pretty much had been ranked #1 most of the season in Lake County. As I state many time on here...you drive for show and putt for $$$. Playing your best basketball at the end of the season is most important and not at the first or middle of the season...like some teams I know. State Champions are rewarded at the end of the season's last game. Lake County wasn't playing their best at the end of the year...loosing the Regional Finals and then loosing in the first round. Union City did win the regional Finals...Substate and first round of the tourney which says alot for a team of very young talent. See yall next year......it's football time. senator
at the end of season UC was a lot better than Lake co. and JC beat them playing terrible, Clay co was best in tourney JC was second and summertowm third and Lake co and Loretta was about even for forth and fifth. Almost every year in recent years you hear all this great talk from Lake county but they exit early wnen they make it to state. Murfreesboro can change the way so many teams have played during the season. Talent wise I still think JC and Lake County is #1 and #2, but as always the 2 teams are most prepared will almost always be playing for gold. No, UC was not better than Lake Co...They were much improved but not better....As for the others, Clay Co was far and away the most impressive followed by Summertown and Lake CO.....Jackson Co was not impressive in the least...Also, for all JC's tradition and hoopla where were all their fans??? Their fan support was really disappointing. Clay on the otherhand should be proud of their team and fans.

We held your team to 4 points in a half, and your gonna say they wern't impressive in the least? They made it to the finals, what more do you people want, they struggled a little in the tournament, but all this stuff people keep saying about them is just unfair. I agree not impressive, but still good enough to beat the best the west sent our way and our fans were there as always.

I agree, I actually find that fairly impressive, just the fact that we were playing "that bad" and still won two out of three games, and were within 2 points with 9 minutes left in the other game.
