Spring Practice begins in a little over a week, and I know they'll scrimmage Jo Byrns.

I'm looking forward to this year, as we return alot of talented players.

Gville has been close the last two years, and this is the year that everyone one around here has been waiting on since these upcoming seniors were in jr. pro.

I look for it to come down to Gville and SP. Thoughts? Comments? Complaints?

I believe that the Tigers will have a very good team from top to bottom. Gordonsville will have big experienced linemen and the backs to go with them, which starts with the return of Watson at quarterback. I have no idea what will happen when their run for state starts because of the quad placement. My biggest question is will Gordonsville finally beat Trousdale for the first time since 1988?

Gville will have a very good team this year. This will be a senior loaded team which means a lot of experience returning. The Gold ball has a very good chance having a home in Gordonsville, TN.

At the end of last year I picked GV to win it all this year but in order for that to happen there's one special thing that has to happen and that is DISCIPLINE!!!Anybody that saw the SP-GV game know's what I mean. If that can happen I really don't see anybody that can match up with you guys. Yes I'm from SP but I just don't see us being a dominant team for a few years and we do have some special little player's coming up. We will be a very good 1a team but I believe hands down you guys have that something special this year. Goodluck on a great and injury free season.

When was the last time FCS beat Gordy?

2009 FC won 42-6. Gville has won the last 2. I'd say they're favored this upcoming yr to beat all of region 4. If they arent region champs this year then I'm not sure when it will happen again. Btw, Some would say winning Region 4 is tougher than winning the Gold Ball.

I was aware of this. FC won in 2009 and Gordy in 2007. It was a rhetorical question for General Duke. :roflol:

    • Great to meet you too.  We're going to work hard to get back.
    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
    • Hope you enjoy it King and good to meet you at state this year. Good luck to the Lady Landers. Keep battling.
