If Dekalb is scrimmaging Gordonsville then I will go ahead and say it. Gordonsville by 60. Gordonsville is the team to beat in 1A this season. When a team is almost all seniors and they are extremely talented, they tend to have special seasons.

I was asking if the scrimmage was Friday and get a response like that. Wow. I do not see Gville by 60. Not this year. DeKalb happens to have a very good team as well this year, with 21 or so experienced seniors of their own who have not been bench warmers. They have filled some missing pieces and it just looks good this year. If they can get their defense right they will be dangerous. They will be extremely explosive on offense they have already proven that against goodpasture and white house this spring. Anyway I'm reading at Gordonsville at 6 p.m. I hope this is correct because I haven't been able to wait for some football for awhile now.

The quesion had nothing to do with who would win, but DC has put together a great offensive attack these last 4 years or so and have built a good tradition. You are basing all of this on nothing. Probably haven't seen a thing they have done this off season. Honestly I'm expecting both teams to score a lot. If Gville wins it won't be without giving up points. It will be more of a shoot out.

Wrong again wingman. Cornbread Capitol has many holes to fill before challenging any senior laden team like Gordonsville. Gordonsville has more starters coming back than any team in 1A. It should be the year of the G Men.

Cornbread Capitol is the favorite. Almost every coach in the state believes that. Murphy's book has you #1. So doe s Holcomb. The talent level is amazing at Cornbread Capitol. Ya have a tradition and has made it the final game for several years. Dominating@

Amazing? It's usually above average for 1A but not on par with Alcoa, Tyner, Maryville, Signal, Greenville, Riverdale and teams like that.
