I know where to go, to look at the Donovan's poll, so I just go check it out every chance I get. I've been doing that every since he moved out of Jasper.Where to I go to look at Murphys poll?

Apparently, Roy is very familiar with Donovan and Murph's poles.

UC beat Lake CO last year in the playoffs and return the same team, were as Lake Co lost some key players. So how do you figure Bigster?

Better coaching and better athletes..Chipper stick with basketball..lol

By the way.You talk about all we lost. But you aren't considering a few players that weren't there last year.I'm sure UC thinks as long as Rafael is gone, especially since he had close to 500 total yards against Uc the Uc faithful think Lake Co is going to be down. But we traded a very good player for two very good players. Now when Lake Co beats Uc..didn't say if..I said when Lake Co does beat Uc..want yall to come on here and give LC and Coach B some love and if ,no when LC beats that loaded UC team that many have in the championship game from our end, want yall to push Coach B for Coach of the Year.

How can you say Zay is a better football player than Raphael when he hasnt played in 2 years. You dont know what you are going to get out of him. What position is he going to play? You had better ahtletes last year and lost.I dont think you will have better athletes this year.

Chipper.I said we traded 1 very good player for 2 very good players.Didn't say Zay was better. But a couple of my buddies told me that in the practices and scrimmages that Zay was doing very well.Maybe Wardawg can fill me in with more .Heard Zay and Devon were very impressive during the Hands On Camp with the Pro players .And you do know how quick Zay is.

First off Chipper, remember in 2 games last year LC and UC were 1-1. Seems people forget LC beat UC at UC in the regular season. Second of all LC blew a 21-0 lead in the playoff game vs UC with the Falcons down two starters in LB/G Craig Lewis and Ricky Boyd who got injured on the 3rd TD drive of the game and could not play in the 2nd half. With that said don't want to take anything away from UC they fought back ad held on in the end stopping a 2 point conversion attempt that would have given LC the lead late and by running the clock out at the end of the game converting a couple of huge 3rd downs. Now onto this year I keep hearing that LC lost all this talent when they lost only 3 skill players in Tyler, Boyd and Bledsoe. They gain a better Athlete at WR than Bledsoe in Raheem Flowers, who started for 4A Dyer Co. as a Sophomore and picked up a comparable athlete at WR to Tyler in Coleman. Will he be as good or better than Rafael?? That remains to be seen BUT instead of being able to double up on Tyler teams will possibly have 2 speed guys to worry about. Again this will play out in the season. The UC faithful might want to ask the Dyersburg and West Carroll's coaches about LC's athletes as they saw them 1st hand this spring. As far as Ricky, he was a good back BUT Devon was the falcons number 2 threat last year and he returns for his Sr. season. After playing with 4 new starters in the OLine last year, the Falcons return 4 of 5 OL starters this year. As I have said numerous times it will not be LC's offens but their play on defense that determines this year's success.

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
