CPA is the best team in Middle Tennessee in class AA. They have the most talent by far! South side sounds like a beast! Should be a great matchup if they meet! I won't be there. Don't underestimate the loss of Bradshaw. Turns out he was a lot better than I had originally thought.

Liberty returns the Hill kid at the point and the big forward, Crisp, inside. They added a guard from Munford, who is solid. but lost 5 or 6 seniors. They will be pretty small but you know they will still play hard and guard people tough. Bolivar lost alot also but will be well coached. And they always seem to get a few new guys after football season ends in Mississippi. (Funny how that happens) Southside and Covington clearly have the most talent in AA West TN. But talent doesn't always win come tournament time. Should be interesting!

WOW, that was a totally dumb statement. You must root for a team that has been beaten down by Bolivar over the years. Name one Miss. transfer.mad.gif

Matt610, I said best team $$ can buy in AA- Not in the state. I wouuld have mentioned Ensworth if someone mentioned who was the best in the state. This is a AA thread, correct?

That being said, a buddy of mine said said that Southside will be very good with the transfers- will they beat CPA? Probably not as that big freshman will take some scoring load of of Lindsey.

You obviously missed the point. I wasn't commenting on "best team" but on the "money can buy" aspect of your post. I am fully aware that Ensworth is not AA.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
