Correction, White House was predicted to be 6-4. Thats why they play the games. White House lost Friday night to Sycamore (who is 7-3). White House is 5-5.

You know who is going to be mad this morning. Dyersburg. They are going to finish 9-1 and end up with the 6th seed in their quad.

Gerry you got that right and going to Mempo to play the best team in 4a there..no telling where game will be played as most Mempo teams dont have their own fields and not very many city fields either.. we'll manage in a tough enviroment hopefully no injuries good refs no guns etc..its a trial there

All i can say is yall's brand of football doesnt fair to well in the gold ball game. Only reason a west team makes it that far is because of the brackets. Come on over this way and get some of these mediocre teams. I know of a few 1 loss teams pretty good as well.

I'd say it means the gold balls stay in the middle or in the east. If Greeneville, Alcoa, Gordonsville, Maryville, Giles etc. played in the west, you'd all be home early.

#3 is simply ur opinion...id venture to say that whoever makes the championship game from the west is still better than everyone else in the state...and giles co will beat them...just like they did everyone else all year long...just like greeneville did the last 2 years...

 

u think ur teams could have competed with maplewood last season...or trezevant the year before...of course u do...but thats simply east bias...u have no proof to back up anything...

 

fact is...greeneville had a ridiculous team the last 2 seasons...1 of the best teams in the state regardless of class...and all u east folks hop on and hump the heck out of that like a dog in heat as if u had something to do with them being so good...ur teams are a joke...no better than ours...if they really were as good as u would like for them to be then why dont u send someone else to the title game each year...every 4a team they played struggled to score a TD and keep them under 50...so please tell me again how the east as a whole is that much better than the west...count all the balls u want...they arent in ur showcase...theyre being boycotted by the few...

 

well see how open enrollment goes for the west here in a year or 2...then maybe the west starts getting some gold in 3a and 4a ball

also most of this was brought on by DeKalb stating over and over how they are a top team and complaining about quad 2...

 

as far as i can tell...giles co is the only team in 4a that should be considered the frontrunner...everyone else is an afterthought this season and needs to prove something...even covington

 

yes even the greendevils...those losses took some of the mystique away...ur team is solid and talented...but giles is showin out this year...much like ur team has the last 2 years
