Camden beat Carroll last night 97-31. Montgomery Central beat Houston County last night 65-26. The district meeting is today at Stewart County and the last night of action is this evening:

Harpeth plays West Creek in a non-district game

Stewart County travels to Montgomery Central: the "coin-toss" between these 2 this afternoon should be interesting

Cheatham County travels to Camden: both teams are locked in their respective positions

Waverly travels to Creek Wood: both teams are locked in their respective positions

I would like to say that Montgomery Central is a team that has came on lately. They should collect their 7th win of the season tonight but they've been right around .500 for the last 10 games or so. They have played Harpeth, Waverly, and Camden to the wire recently. The Burneys & Hamilton give the Indians a solid lineup and if they have good guard play they are capable of beating a lot of teams in the district. I'm sure Waverly would love to see them win the "coin toss" today and go ahead and beat Stewart County tonight.

Will Camden play Harpeth or creekwood. They both are 7-5 in district and went 1-1 against each other. I believe total points in both games give the edge to Harpeth. Anybody know, Thanks

Camden will play Harpeth.

Creek Wood went 1-1 vs Cheatham County

Harpeth went 0-2 vs Cheatham County

That gave Creek Wood the tiebreaker over Harpeth.

Stewart County won the "coin flip" against Montgomery Central (who beat the Rebels by 22 last night). Stewart County will play Creek Wood in the 3/6 game. Waverly will play Montgomery Central in the 2/7 game.

    • Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year
    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.

    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
