oldrebel
DB is the best team in East Tennessee, however they are not in the same league as Maryville. Do you Upper East Tennessee people not realize Maryville is in East Tennessee?
EHSCyclones
Good lunch dbFAN91, I really hope you win. As I said before, I sincerely believe that DB does not want to play Maryville year after year, because they would get beat. I use to not think this way until I saw what Alcoa did to us in the Semifinals a couple of years ago at OUR place. One major thing that I noticed with Maryville/Alcoa. Their kids are used to being in this environment, others are not. Remember the last time these two teams played it was a beat down. I hope it does not happen tonight. EHSCyclones
We in this part of East Tennessee see it as down to the 40/75 split. Because to us up here, that is where the real football starts.

bounder
I'd say anywhere east of Roane county all the way to Mountain City is East Tennessee and upper east Tn. would be east of Morristown.
CU06
No #88 started out the season weighing 271lbs now he is around 290. Good Luck see ya at the game. It's pretty hard for a 17 year old kid to gain 19 lbs while playing hs football for 13 straight weeks. Usually the weight goes the other direction. Props to his nutritionist! TOOMUCHSPEED
I don't see how this can be avoided. Do you all have reserved seats at DB? From my experience the tickets come from TSSAA. We don't get to travel to many others places for playoff games, so I'm a little in the dark on how other places do it I hope i can answer this one. D-B's whole home side is basically reserved. The orignal holders of the seat/ticket for the year, thats their seat, bought and paid for in advance. In the playoffs, the school gives that person until the following Tues. to retain that same seat. if not it goes public. Hope that helps. He has a Bloomingdale born attitude that I hope comes out early tonight. (by that I mean some in Bloomindale have been known to cut the ER Dr. before he cuts their own cord).
