Signal Mountain 2013 Football Schedule

Let's be real. How will Signal fare without Reese Phillips? That's the big question. Signal was average last year with an SEC quarterback. Who is going to take his spot? Everything runs through the QB at Signal. They've had two pretty good QB's in the past 4 years. Will 2013 prove any different?

 

Physicality [the lack thereof] is also an issue for Signal.

I love the haters. Teter will be a very good quarterback. He looked very good last year and should do well starting as a Junior. All our young sophomores are back and have been working hard in the off season. Remember, guys do a lot of growing and maturing between their sophomore and junior years

 

Now that we have been open for five years, all our "transfers", which was pretty much everybody, have graduated. Everybody around now has been here since at least the ninth grade.

 

The Eagles will be tough this year. The non-district games will make us stronger, and the district battle will be between Signal and the leprechauns. We should make a deep run into the playoffs, and could win it all, but I expect Fulton to repeat with what they are returning.

Signal will struggle to go 5-5 this year. Great school but you guys missed your shot in 11 to show u could play with the big hitters. East Ham will again will be the 4A school in the area
