He is 118 away from breaking the record. I say a 400 yard game to make it impossible for Dodson or Wharbritton to come close.

Mobley finished with 3068, so I don't think he even needs 118.

No team has held Hurd to less than 75 yards. Only one team all year held him under 100 yards and Hurd had a leg injury that no one discussed. After his 3 weeks of rest Hurd is at his best. He will put up great numbers against Columbia. He is a kid that knows what is on the line and will not be denied! You can put your money on that!

Columbia played against Dickson County week 2 and faced a 220 lb running back. He was no where near as fast as Hurd! The Dickson County back rushed for 235 yards against Columbia. They have never seen a kid who can run over the line backer and out run the safety like Hurd has done all year! Columbia will not stop Hurd with the state championship and single season rushing record on the line!

I have been watching Hurd all year. This kid is the real deal. When he sets his mind on scoring. You can believe he is going to find a way to do it. The way I see it Columbia has little or no chance at winning this game. Do not forget Beech has a very good defense as well.
