I very highly doubt Corbin will be at 132. But Corbin and Sam Lane at 120 should be a good one. 120 has turned into quite an interesting weight class. At this point, there are a handful of kids that all seem right around the same level and any one of them could show up at Region and win the title... The seeding meeting for this weight will be fun.

Agreed. With Lane (SH), Williams (ME), Cutshall (Boone), Icenhour (SE), Hurley (TN), Davis (DB), amd Hinshaw (Sey) you can about throw them all in a hat and anyone could win on a given day. I will give the edge to Storm Williams if he is at 120. Hurley and Lane are right there also IMO.

Yeah I think Storm has much more experience than the others with all the out of season wrestling he has done with Team Tornado and ETWA. That makes a big difference when it comes to the important matches in the offseason.

Corbin has the ability to keep matches close with just about anyone. I have no idea how the seeding will end up with this weight, but if they end up on opposite sides of the bracket, I would predict those two to be the 120lb finalists.

Who's forgetting him? He was just mentioned in Baller's post. He's one of the many that have a chance. But he lost to Storm and they pulled him in the dual match against TN High, so he hasn't wrestled Corbin. Both of them haven't lost a region match at 120 either.

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
