I would say if JA got the job then Cook would certainly follow. I think that alone gives him a real chance of landing the job. Even the ones not all that fired up about JA would accept the hire as long as Cook comes to. JMO

I really don't know how it is good for John to go to Rhea. He's already a HC and I don't think the money would be better.

Fitzgerald, Allen, Pemberton would all be great hires and an instant boost for the program, the tough part will be how to match money with the hamilton county and willliamson county school systems. But all decisions are not always based on money and sometimes that makes a big difference..with upgraded facilities and a much better region would be a quick turnaround for most coaches...weakest 6-A region in tennessee, should contend for the region championship each and every year...hixson, chatt central and brentwood are all very good jobs, i know central has struggled for a while but will be back

How can anyone say who is best for the job when we don't even know who all has applied? Does anyone have a confirmed list of applicants or even a list of who actually got an interview? Did the local paper ask for a list of applicants? To bad we don't have RheaCo around to let us know what's going on. We all hear rumors but if there were actually 42 to 45 applicants we should be talking about more than just 3 or 4 names.

Why would Fitzgerald come back? He has the whole Hixson community excited about football again and with East Hamilton gone has a shot at winning the district this year. Allen has coached at every school in the Chattanooga area he is not going to stay long if he does come. Go out and get a young coach and give him time to build a program. Rhea is a long way from where everyone wants them to be and it is not going to happen overnight.
