HL job

Any chance Finley goes after this? I would say Moreno may give this one a shot since he missed out on HL. Maybe Myers would want to come back to metro? Whites Creek had talent this year. I saw them once and their line was decent sized and they had several skills guys. To me the problem was a lack of consistency and the lack of a true identity. This could be a good job for the right person.

I believe Finley would be a great hire and would win at The Creek if he were given an opportunity to coach there. I would like to see him apply. It depends on what teaching slots WC has open and if they are willing to hire outside of Metro.

experience not wanted, especially if it is a good one, winning coaches for the most part should not apply, must teach atleast 6 classes and if you give up your planning to teach an extra preparation your odds go way up, individual must be willing to work alone, totally alone and must be experienced in fund raising and to stop using the term football game and instead insert the word "activity" as in last night we played another team in an activity, any funds you do raise are quickly moved to the general fund and spent on half-time dancers outfits, also another activity except with less people in the group, not to be mixed up with the word team, key words are as follows:

activity= football

group = teams

coach =fundraiser and lone wolf

gate money = general funds deposit to cover for every other sport that does not make enough to cover the cost of the referees required to cover their game

imagine albert einstein meets bear bryant meets tony robinson meets socialism and you have a heck of a candidate

key: never think about in the big picture you have a sport that teaches team work and discipline to a group of young men who make up the top ten percentage of testorone people in the school, add in that the role models coaching them may be the only positived male influence in their lives

there have been super role models that have coached in metro and most now are retired, we are very fortunate that they took the time and years to influence all the thousands of young men who teach, police and run our government and serve as dads and leaders

guys like jerry pique, wes elrod, buddy brown, terry anderson, coach campbell, coach gore, bubba spears and many others...to you all that have and still do thanks for everything you did for nashville football and have made such a difference in so many peoples lives

i am sorry about my spelling mistakes and evey other grammar fact that i have overlooked, i unfortunately did not have a metro education and instead just focus on my various activities

Who is Finley?

Cheatham County's football coach. He applied for the Hunters Lane job several weeks ago but wasn't able to get an interview (the top six all got interviews). I do not know whether or not he'll apply at Whites Creek. If he does then I believe he'd be a great hire. If he doesn't then I hope the Cobras find a good coach. I remember Richard Coure having a lot of success at Whites Creek in the late 90s.
