Justaballfan01
Guess we just differ on views of defense Sissom didn't send Hackett to ft line as many times as she went- several times was in the 4th when cannon was trying to foul but Sissom had various open looks or drives knocking down 5 3s according to the Tennessean Again I'll say... Both are good players
Hsfootballnut
They are both great young ladies who deserve any award they receive. Don't you think it would be better to compliment one without criticizing the other? Exactly!!! They just younguns. Give it a rest
UCSportsFan
LOL! You take a good player off a mediocre team & of course that team will miss them more than a good player on a good team. So that philosophy doesn't work, nor the philosophy of the best team having mvp. I think if you looked at starting a team & had your pick of any of these girls, the one that you would start your team with should be your vote for mvp. I would start my team with sissom! Shocker! A Cannon County fan voting for a Cannon County player lol. Both are very deserving but from an unbiased spectator the Hackett girl has had the best season and imo should be mvp

UCSportsFan
Or Coe in black & gold...would be contender for AA title. You would need a coach first brother, and no offense but the one you have couldn't carry Jim Brown's lunch.

No offense to me...but it probably is to him. He was won a title. You don't have to be Jim Brown to win one. UCSportsFan
No offense to me...but it probably is to him. He was won a title. You don't have to be Jim Brown to win one. The Hermitage Springs Pee Wee tournament doesn't count brother. He only made it to the region once with the Ferris girl. Give Jim Brown those same players and he wins 2 gold balls and a silver. That guy doesn't know how to develop talent. If the Hackett girl wants to excel in basketball she should move to Jackson County and play under a real coach. all she has to look forward to at Smith County is the district tournament and maybe maybe the first round of the region but after that it's over

He won a title in your current class. If you call that Hermtage Springs Pee Wee...well...those are your words. SC can play with anyone as evidence of beating Cannon twice. The younger classes coming up are very good. Looks like he developed this very young team pretty well.
