Finally, although bittersweet, our season is over so I will be able to attend my first LA/DC match-up of the year. Gonna be a great one. One question though, what time is the game? 7?

Scheduled for 7:30. Consolation game between Upperman & Cannon Co. is at 6:00.

I'm not sure the 2nd place team out of this district isn't the big winner when its all said and done. Looks like a much easier road to the final so if i had a team in the finals i would look at it as a win either way! Good luck to both teams!

Ah King! The game you get to come to and we don't have our achilles heel for LA, lol. Howell is a weapon against them I don't know why. We will see what happens tonight, though. Hopefully we can find other ways to get it done. Heard he is back for region most likely. That's great news.

Why in the world have sonni and Braxton both been on the bench for the whole last 6-7 minutes before halftime? Do they just want to lose the game?

Good job Hogeye! Tourney time a whole new season. Bad news it starts again. Gotta have a short memory this time of year. Congrats to Dekalb, upperman, & Cannon. We saw some pretty good ball this week. Now take care of 7aa so we can do it again!

DC is overrated and I can see them losing to cannon in the semifinal. They don't play like they used to, to me anyway. No one could score consistently tonight and I think Howell playing hurts DC. He is one of the best players on that team but they play better without him. Atnip has to take over and get to scoring at will like he use to. Fullilove is probably the most dependable player on that team. Good luck to DC in regions though

Foul trouble mainly. I do feel we got too far behind to try to come back but it is what it is. LA answered every run DC made. All we can do is learn and prepare for Region.

You still think Cannon will win in Pikeville if Melton is out? Both Cannon and LA were our third time playing someone so the games will naturally be much closer or swing the other way. (Which CC and LA each did respectively.)

 

As far as saying Howell hurt the team, that's a bit of a stretch considering NOONE was hitting anything. Blaming one player is a bit unrealistic? On a side note, I called this happening before DC beat LA in Smithville.
