I'M Not sold on ALex Fountain..he is a 2 star SF that plays nobody..There is a lot more to go with..People vote just because he is 6'7..UC beat Hopkinsville and Callaway co. And they had 4 players that was 6'8..6'7..ill have to see some highlights on him first..Chipper is this guy ligit or what??..better than anyone here in 14a??..I dunno about that..You could have Stockdale from UC..Bradford from Humboldt..Zay Coleman from LC..carter from TCA..Griffian from Btw..all these guys are legit..and as of the last 7 games Stockdale from UC has avaraged 21.6 and 8 Rebounds a game..Better look at the stat sheet guys..Coleman has put up big numbers as well..Bradford is off and on..and TCa ain't played a tough schedule this year for Carter..I dunno

Agreed on the Alex Fountain topic... I don't personally believe he is the best in 1A, but I do believe he will win it... Exposure influences the ignorant with this award...

 

The players I selected on page 1 are the ones I feel will win it, but they very well might not be the best in their respected classification...

 

AAA as usual has a lot of great players... Nick King is probably the overall best, but due to his team's record and the fact that they probably will not make it out of Memphis inhibits his ability to win the award...

 

An Alex Fountain led Wartburg Central team will more than likely make it to state again this year, but if you put them in 14A I say the only way they make it the glass house by watching in the stands...

Yea I agree with you TSSAA...BTW I agree with you somewhat I guess with Griffin..But the problem with him is BtW ain't really played nobody either..when y'all did play a quality team y'all got beat..That's just facts man..I dunno..But I will say. He is probly more legit than Fountain..if I had a top 3 in the west I would go with Stockdale from Union City..Coleman from Lake Co. And Carter from TCA..Griffin in the mix also..

For the record TCA does not have a player named Carter. You are probably referring to William Hall who is one of our outstanding Senior guards. Our other Senior guard specializes in STEALS and defense. His name is Moroney and he leads the PURPLE SWARM defense!

my opnion is that the west has a mr basketball winner every year this year being a favorite in fountain being from the east its killing them west people lol ill agree the west has better teams 99 percent of the time but for once boys quit hating and support fountain hes deserved it and hes a good kid and extremely hard worker

In AAA all 3 finalists should be from the West.Hubbs,Johnson, and King along with J3 are in a league by themselves.

 

I'll take Darius Thompson over J3 and JaJaun Johnson anyday. I've watched all these guys play and J3 is the biggest letdown.

Xavier Howard, a 6-2 senior guard from Harriman, scored 30 against Grace and is now 22 points shy of 2,000 for his career. Howard was averaging 29.7 points going into Thursday's game.
