Region 6-AA Tournament

I think I'll ride down to Creekwood tonight to catch the action. I've seen everybody but Cheatham County play, whose record is impressive. I think it's anyone's tourney. Basketball comes down to who's hot and who's not, on any given night.

 

They are much like the football team. They are an in your face type of team that plays hard for every second of the 32 minutes of a basketball game. They have tremendous size and athleticism to go along with that size.

I hope tonight's games have the same crowd last night's Creekwood's girls and Lewis County's girls had. It was definitely a packed gym and energy filled. Can't wait.

Even though, IMO, howdoit.. places way too much value on insignificant events such as preseason scrimmages and competing for 2 quarters and does not understand the tremendous advantage between approaches of Lions vs. Cubs as I have read his previous posts on different threads, I can appreciate his loyalty and willingness to make the bold prediction. I'd say his posts have peeked my interest enough to where I am tempted to make the drive to see what all the fuss is about. Too bad it is the first game, don't know if I can make that one, but sounds like it will be a good one.

I have a feeling Spring Hill wins a close one with Creekwood, but I think Giles road ends tonight. That's why they play the games though.
