werazzlin
Nic was good but would have got rocked by a Zach Watson, Cleveland, Leen, Or Lewis. There have been PLENTY two time champs in the last 10 years so that's not something that will separate him. All of the guys were good!!! Nic was a warrior! To not be scored on as a senior is very impressive. I agree he only won state two times. But the kid was a beast!!!
cbg
Raymond Dunning would have to considered. 3X State Champion, D2 National runner-up and defeated jImmy Kennedy when he was ranked #1 in D1.
notscared
The outline of this thread. 1.Thread posted. 2. Name of a wrestler posted by several. 3. Someone lists 10 wrestlers. 4. The 10 wrestlers are debated. 5. Someone will link B.B top 50 article. 6. Thread will turn into All-Time greats. 7. Everyone argues again. Moral of the story is...this turns into the same argument every year and the same people chime in. When really it is impossible to make comparisons to who deserves and does not deserve. Styles, weight classes etc. makes it even harder to debate.

We, as fans, get to talk about the sport we love.. something commonly done around the water-cooler / lunch-table with the normal sports (football, basketball, baseball). Here is another chance for an interesting conversation about a sport that anyone reading this message board at this time of year probably cares an awful lot about. Just to put some frame of reference on the whole thread... by this decade which of the two options do we mean? 1) The 2010's (spanning wrestlers graduating 2010 - 2020) 2) The last ten years (wrestlers graduating 2003-2013) Get the scope defined first and then everyone can compare the criteria to death! notscared
I agree Ghouse. It just appears to be the same conversation with nothing new to add.

Bump11
But if you take Leen, Simpson, Watson, Marable, Duncan, Hooker, Oliver, and Baker... And make a top 10 best in D2, how would you order them? And who would the other 2 be? Connell and Brunner for me with Alex Manley very close. It would take me a while to order them 1-10.
