I've been very busy this year and haven't kept up like years past...Who are some of the top players still playing this year to look out for in the Boro? I'm West10 reppin so of course I know about the Southwind duo of Johnson and J3, DC's Robert Hubbs, Jackson SS Barford, Hicks, McNeal, Merrirether, and Mitchell's young guns in Martin, Echols and Spencer...Who else?? I want to know more about Blackman's team, and the studs from CPA

Can mainly only speak for AAA:

#15 Darius Thompson is the chieftain (16.3 ppg) and best shooter of Blackman's (30-0) undefeated squad. Other big contributors for them are big man #23 Quindell Cousin (10.1 ppg), #33 Justin Coleman (9.3 ppg), #5 KJ Dowdy (8.4 ppg; also their 2nd-best shooter); #2 Jajuan Jennings (7.6 ppg)...as you can see, they are as deep and balanced as anyone, and Thompson's savvy as a field general is a large contributor to that.

I'll put in some from Oak Ridge's team...Jaylin Henderson and Cory Fagan...Jaylin is a slasher, but can also hit the outside 3...Fagan is a sharpshooter from 3 point range...Rian Hall slashing PG, great defender.

Yea but he disappear in the 2nd half, and #1 has to carry them.... He gotta at least give you sum for 26 minutes since he is playing 32

Well I think he had 26 points today, and all of those didn't come before halftime.

I will agree that #1 is a great player as well. They're a fun team to watch play and will be next year as well.

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
