I might be wrong, but I believe what Legit is referring to is. If your aren't going all out and the gold football is your goal then just don't play at all.

those who are not used to or spoiled possibly by success don't understand that if you are not going for the gold ball everything else sucks. So top 5 finish to us and maybe only us but I don't think so is to some degree is a failure Edited April 30, 2013 by MrLegit

Atta boy PG; I'd expected that Mr Legit comment to get a rise from PP as well. Some folks look thru rose colored glasses, others have view obstructed by continual stars in their eyes syndrone. Never took MC 310 pages and 84 thread name changes to acquire a new coach. Does look/sound like SP has finally reached a decision; hope it's a local individual this time. If an outsider again I predict a few years of turmoil and another coaching change. No need to go down that road with the available local talent. Whoever it is will begin 0-1 against MC this year.

that's not what I said you purple idiots but I lost in the state championship and to me TO A CERTAIN DEGREE it was a failure.

You are one to talk about picking out key words and commenting on them. I never said we'd be satisfied with a top 5 finish. You always try to win it all. I said less than top 5 would be a failure. If, as you say, SP considers anything less than a good ball a failure then you've had 26 failures out of the last 30 years, Just like Marion...
