Congratulations to Friendship and Silverdale!!!

As Riverside's reign at the championship is over, In my opinion their trips to state will end this year. I do not know of any team in single A that can match their 5 year run at state though

166 wins and 27 losses in 5 years at winning percentage of .860

3 consecutive titles (2010, 2011, 2012)

1 Runner Up (2009)

Final Four (2013)

Riverside Fans and players keep your heads up as your team has been one of the best to come through Murfreesboro in a 5 year span like that!!

Again congrats to all 8 teams on a great year!!!

Curious as to why you think this is the last year they make it to state? Goff is reported to be leaving, other than that the heart of their team will be back for one more year so I'd be hesitant to count them out until year after next at least.

Congratulations to Friendship and Silverdale!!!

It should be a great one and as Reaction can tell you I know a little about the game:) Go Seahawks!!

i'd agree you do know "a little". so tell us who wins & a score, skydogg. Are the Seahawks "destined" like we heard from you on previous bucs teams predictions? Obviously Silverdale is good. They've proven it this week. However, tomorrow is a big stage & there's a lot to be said for being there before & facing an unbelievable team like Riverside with Gant on the bump! FC will have at least 5 starters who've been on this stage as starters in 2011. Gant dominated that day & these FC seniors wont be intimidated after working 2 yrs for their 2nd shot at a title. They'll be ready just like they were in cookeville this past December.

Never said anything of such but did pick the championship game right in March buddy and I think I was the only one!!

I don't post much on here but I will respond. Last year after the region semifinals I made the statement that Silverdale would be the 1A team to beat in the Chattanooga area this year and would make a deep run. With Goodpasture coming to 1A it will be theirs to win each year but a couple of teams from the Chatt area will hopefully make some more noise next year.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
