Best Coach in DII

Who do yall think is best coach in D2? I think its Ricky Bowers just because he has been able to win so many championships where ever he goes and he really knows how to develop the kids not only on the football field but also as a person and in the class room. But i just want yalls oponion.

In my heavily biased opinion, the best coach is David Meske. For all the reasons you noted plus he is dealing with a much smaller pool of athletes (Nashville vs Knoxville) that must be able to continually cut the academic mustard at Webb where you have the more typical student athlete (as oppose to athletic student). He has left an indeliable mark spanning over 25 years and postively affected that communuity for two generations.

You must give Ricky Bowers credit. When success follows you in all you do, you're doing something right. I wish he would go to Hillwood. Then all could see where he stands as a coach: beneficiary of circumstance, miracle worker, or somewhere between.

Ricky Bowers is the best high school football coach in Tennessee. Anything that happens to an individual after they leave Ensworth should not reflect poorly on the school, coach or football program.

"not even close" is a phrase that is hard for me to define. Seriously, if you look at a Coach's body of work (records, state championships, what former players say about them, etc.) - who would you say is the best Coach in DII or Tennessee?
