old24eagle
like I say every year, you have to go with Hampton til someone dethrones them. Cloudland looked good in 7 on 7 so did south greene. I like the addition of SG I believe it greatly increased the competition level in the region which will be good for all involved come playoff time. I believe there will be 3 or 4 teams that can compete for the title this year. I don't think NG , Unaka , or Hancock has a chance but everyone else I believe could be there at the end/
pujo
In my opinion, Cloudland should be the team to beat, they pretty mmuch return all the kids from last years squad, I think they can replace the kids they lost. SG should also be a player, they return most of they're kids. Hampton could be in the running also, the line will be their strength ,it just depends on how all the new skill position kids develope. That would be my top three.
BigPoppaPump
Gotta dethrone Hampton first. How many straight conference wins the Dawgs have now? 387 or something? The question with SG will be up front. Their skill kids will consistently be as good as anyone in the conference now. The first scrimmages should be coming up in a couple of weeks, usually that first Friday in August. Who are Cloudland, Hampton, and the Rebs scrimmaging that first week? Any ideas? THE KING
I'm going with Cloudland this year. They return some seasoned linemen who have put a lot of time in the weight room. The defensive line is not going to give up much. I do think that Mike will have his team ready and prepared and to finally win the region, you have to go through Hampton. pujo
I said Cloudland should win ,just based on the # of starters they have returning, but I still think Hampton will take it. They should get better and better as the season goes on. But week 10 is a mile away and its untelling what may happen by that time.I do think it could turn out several different ways.SG will definately improve the strength of this region. They should be a contender every year.
