Pickett county showed up in Trousdale a few years ago with 16 players, and a couple were girls, and i think a couple were in the 8th grade.

Iheard that Unaka only had 15 players,said they might have to fold the tent. Hope thats not the case.

 

Not a good situation. Hopefully they will get a few more players to come out. Hate to see these 15 kids be deprived of the game they love!!

First friday of summer camp tomorrow. Big scrimmage day. Heard from a buddy at church that Cloudland had Sullivan East coming in to town. Any truth to that? I follow the 3 Rivers pretty closely. Would love to hear if East is going to be as bad as they were last year. Word is Coach Locke has had it pretty rough. Regardless, good luck to all the Region 1-A teams banging heads with a different color tomorrow. Hoping for physical, injury free football.

heard some bad news out of CHS camp said that Rhinehart has quit the team again and the mckinney hasn't came out that would be disturbing news if true can someone confirm or deny.

I've talked to a few of the kids and its true, I guess they'll just have to plug away without um. Just gotta go with the kids who are comitted and willing to work. Hampton had 3 potential starters come amiss,They are history, were better off developeing some of the younger kids who are dedicated and willing to pay the price. It don't look like it will make a bit of difference, Glad they did it now instead of latter on when we were depending on um.
