I think off the top of My head the way it'll shake out will be:

1)Alcoa

2)CAK

3)Knox Catholic

4)Kingston

5)Scott

What are Your opinions?

IMO, this is not the same teams we have seen in the past, but I will agree with #1,

1. Alcoa

2. Catholic

3. CAK

4. Scott

5. Kingston

but hey, I'm not to smart!

The district won't shake out too good as overall the teams lack size, speed, and are just not very talented.  A couple of teams may make it past the first rd of the playoffs but that is about it!!  LOL!!!

Yeah outside of Alcoa and CAK it's one of the weakest Regions in AA. Alcoa and CAK will probably meet again in the Playoffs like last Season.

You guys obviously do not know a lot about Knox Catholic....

I agree APB. But I don't know much about them either. CAK will be down from what I saw in an early scrimmage. Not heard a peep from the alcoa camp. I interpret that as cautiousness. IMO - Catholic will be the sleeper who ends up either winning the district or determining who does win it.

Alcoa has more than enough to win both the district and 3A this year...should do it easily.

Catlick is back in 4A where they belong and are going to do some damage this year, now in the same district with CAKe, it going to be all about 'Krootin with the wins/losses between those two.

That is going to start a great rivalry between them.

Thanks for the info about CAK! The CAK-Catholic game should be darn interesting

    • I didn't make it up, I was told that by another coach.   I was just passing along what I was told.  Keep your shirt on there tough guy.
    • I see them and Oakdale struggling quite a bit the next few years. I see OS to be the powerhouse of the area for awhile. It all depends on how much Coalfield can recruit.
    • How did the scrimmage with Central go?
    • I’ve said it all year coalfield isn’t the same team as the last couple years. They have 3 really good players and another pitcher that throws low to mid 80s. Other than that, everybody else is average at best. You could make the argument that their lineup was the worst out of the 4 teams in their region tournament. Oakdale is really hot right now and playing well. Greenback was the second best team there. Wartburg was hitting it well but limped into the tournament with their center fielder being hurt and their best pitcher not being able to go on the mound for them was killer.
    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
