Boyd played a 6-0 and undefeated DCA team to a close game last night. Boyd will always be tough and SP is always The Super Bowl when they play us. They will play their best game of the year vs SP. They always do. Reference last year's game for an example.

SP  wins a tuff game over Boyd ,tho the Bucs appear to be having a down year the Pirates will need to play one of thrie better games thusfar..I agree with Roy..they need to win this game

The Boyd score with DCA caught my eye. DCA is 6-0 and Boyd barely lost. I believe they are getting better. SP better be ready. The defense needs to continue to improve the pass defense and the offense just needs to get more consistent. They didn't punt last night, but obviously made some costly mistakes that cost them points. Boyd will be ready. You can count on that.

LMBO. I bet some people actually print off people's opinions on here and hang them in their locker rooms to "fire up" their teams. My opinion is this. If you have to post message board chatter to fire your team up then those type teams will have major trouble down the road.

Never count the chickens too early. I bet they thought they would beat Grundy easily as well. Boyd will be much better than Grundy regardless how much they are down.

I've never understood why they call this a rivalry. You have a small rural school and a private school 35 or so miles apart. It's not like these kids see each other often other than game night.
