Central has the type of team that if what they are doing works at all then they could put up big numbers, a lot of speed on that team.  You have to outscore them to win, they hung 38 points on AC and 21 of those was in the first half.  That game was only 28-21 at Halftime, the only reason AC won as well as they did is because Central had no answer for AC's running game at all.  AC had a running back with over 350 yards in that one and as a team had over 500 yards rushing.  Central just did not have the guys up front to slow AC down, if Central had any kind of a front 7 AC could have very well had their 2nd loss of the season.  Do not overlook that Central team, they are much more dangerous than their record may show.

I hope our players aren't reading this stuff about Central. We play Karns this week. It looks like we overlooked CC and now we are doing the same with Karns. Papa bounder needs to talk to all of the OR posters about this.

Ok , thanks for clearing that up for me I was starting to wonder if Oak Ridge was playing a Double Header !! What would a message board be like without fans getting ahead of their selves ... lol , Somebody's already Started a Maryville / Oakland thread .... only on the T !!!

no worries about us Beavers, OR could play their freshman and beat us I mean come on you guys lost to one of the best teams in the state CC, Karns doesn't even deserve any respect at all in compairson, maybe someday we can show up and play but, tomorrow just won't be it.

Doubt that on the Freshmen. The fans may not be paying attention, but i guarantee after last weeks performance OR's coaches sure as heck aren't overlooking Karns as well as the players. Karns has some good athletes, more then CC does. They just don't play with the confidence CC plays with. Much better pure athletes, though.

    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
    • Hope you enjoy it King and good to meet you at state this year. Good luck to the Lady Landers. Keep battling.
