No calls and bad calls are part of the game sometimes. I sincerely hope the CA coaches weren't behind the myriad of late hits, spears, and body slamming our QB twice as he was 2 yards out of bounds but it's hard to entertain any other scenario.

The officiating was horrendous.

NCS - 16 penalties for 150 Yards

CA - 4 penalties for 45 Yards

Congrats to Ncs on the win tonight! If I was y'all I would move on and get out of this endless argument and enjoy the victory

Agree. This one is in the books and I think JB will finish CAs season off next week. We definitely have some things to work on and clean up during the week off because this wasn't a perfect game for NCS. Our team played tough and overcame some things but we will for sure need to start off better in the playoffs than we did tonight.

I understand if you attend the NCS @ CA game and you did not like the calls and disagree with the style of play. This is away to express yourself without resulting to name calling and making outrageous statements. Why do folks that pay 6 bucks to get in a ball game think it gives them permission to yell what ever they want from the sideline.

Because these are our kids and if your coaching staff is instructing their players to break the rules in an attempt to seriously injure our kids then it's our duty as parents to stand up and be heard. We are all for hard hitting and great football within the rules but how multiple CA players repeatedly dished out late hits, spearing, etc. was FAR beyond anything I've ever witnessed EVER.

At least two members of that officiating crew willfully turned a blind eye to multiple personal fouls on multiple occasions. If the TSSAA even remotely cares about the integrity of it's officials and player safety then there should be some officiating suspensions handed down. IT WAS THAT BAD.

We might be Christian but if you illegally target our kids then it's on and we are darn sure going to stand up and be heard. We might turn the other cheek once or twice, but we will protect our kids if the officials refuse to.

Quit crying, your making yourself look bad. Let the kids take up for themselves, that's just another life lesson.

What are you talking about...the lowest of the low? Your team had more cheap shots and were very classless. And your fans, classless as well. Don't know why as with your "work study" your coach has recruited a bevy of talented players. And your coach is an excellent game caller. Be happy, NCS will probably win the state title with their bought team, yes I said it, bought team. With so many offensive weapons you will be hard to beat.

Bought or not they stand no chance vs South Pitt, mark my words.

    • Actually that young kid was in an offense that loved to throw the ball I believe.    Biggest problem for MC is if the coaching staff can figure out which mouths to feed at the appropriate time.
    • Have you ever been in education (administration) or a head coach? You’re responsible for all aspects of your program. If you were not checking the kids information correctly and left it up to someone else and they mess up. You’re held liable because it’s a failure on supervision, implementation of TSSAA eligibility and your school’s eligibility. Remember the wording in the article for him “CONTRACT NOT RENEWED” coaches are on a year to year contract and don’t sign the contract again until July. Do I believe he still should’ve been let go? Yes because you’re responsible for the total program and should be aware of everything going on. Do I believe he knew about the grade changes? No and that’s because nobody brought his name up until things got really bad and there is no indication with any paperwork showing he did. It’s just word of mouth from a teacher trying to cover herself.
    • TSSAA won't ever issue a death penalty, worst case scenario would be a post-season penalty that makes Clinton ineligible for the playoffs for a year or two (I believe 3 years is the most I have ever seen).  But TSSAA only does that in extremely rare circumstances.
    • I just want to echo that sentiment. Coach Woodmore is a good man and he is going to do things the right way and expect these kids to do things the right way. He will help grow them into fine young men. The wins will follow. I think Bolivar hit a home run.
