All joking aside, I wish they would contact Gaddis and try to get a scrimmage against OR.  That is a really good team that could do nothing but make us better, and we don't have to worry about facing them down the road.

Oh. I also saw that one of the players had on the new white helmet. It has the orange stripe and number on the side like last years. That disappointed me.

You know why Maryville goes out and travels to Cookeville to scrimmage Endsworth, to make the team better. At this point William Blount can really learn a lot about their team when they play Catholic this week because they did end up a final four team last year in 4-A and they did take the mighty Fulton down to the wire so something to think about.

William Blount will get tested this Friday. Catholic had a scrimmage against who should've been the 5A state champs West Friday and if I'm not mistaken scored 3 TDS against Wests mighty defense and west only scored 1 before the second third team came in

I look for Catholic to be good and well coached....with that said, I know West has the RB and QB back, but didn't they lose a lot of other players off of last years team?  I wasn't expecting West to be as good this year as last.

I have been impressed with the agressive coaching of both Whitehead brothers and Coach Cochran on defense.  The offensive coaching has been better....you can tell the coaches have been working in the off season.
