Didn't think it would take long to heat this up.....5 pages in and not a peep outta Kaz.  This is a big test for a group that many predicted to be third in their own district.  We have been climbing a mountain all year....where you folks been.  You fellows gonna kick to #21 or are you gonna let us have it on the 40?  The field we are gonna play on should make us a little faster than normal.  Everyone and their granny is gonna predict a GCA win....Old Kaz won't side with that bunch.  I'm no idiot (although some might think otherwise) the "experts" will all go with the Rams.  Our boys are gonna show up and give and take shots.  We will have to be a chain moving football team.  The boys will have one thing covered....they believe they can win.  Keeping the score managable will greatly influence the outcome.

After Webb went out of the picture, do to not being able to pass that test thing I believe, they were both set on Hardin Valley. It was HV and another Knox school which I can't think of. The reasoning as to why Kyron left was to go to a bigger school for more college exposure, at least that's what they said. Somehow they ended up at Grace. Don't get me wrong Grace is a good team, but they're the same classification as is RW so i've been a bit puzzled how the exposure is working out while still playing in the same 1A district.

When you have a team as good as Grace, colleges watch. I seen where their QB is being recruiting by big schools so there is a lot more exposure than RW

Rockwood and Grace have one thing in common, they are both 2a schools. These schools are as different as daylight and dark. Its the haves and the have nots.

Yes, you're correct. Word has it that Miss. St. was in on Grace's QB. Now that's just hear say, not a concrete fact. I agree, it's a gimme that he was going to get more exposure at Grace than Rockwood. What i'm saying is if that's your sole reason for transferring, go to a big school, or at least have some respect for your school and get out of the district. Looking in a different eye, I would've loved to see how RW would've done with Kyron still toting the rock this year!

I can understand your position and the opinion of the Tiger faithful that have seen these TWO Inman brothers grow up there. Should they have gone to a larger school? Maybe. Maybe they would've been a smaller fish in a bigger pond. My point is, go somewhere that gets a ton of publicity AND media coverage to get recognition for the ultimate goal...a scholarship to play ball and get your school paid for. This is a very touchy subject, and I'm sensitive to the situation.

I recognized and talked about the Rockwood fans that gave a great ovation to Demarcus during his Senior Night last week. A true show of class and respect to a great kid. I interviewed him on the post game show and he acknowledged that he heard the roar. That's a memory that he will never forget.

This is a big hill for the Indians to climb. I just don't know if there is enough rungs on the ladder. TL will get the boys ready but I just don't think they can overcome the hurdle. I would like to see Oneida win, and it would be a major upset if they could, but let's face reality here, I just don't see it happening. And Kaz before you try to throw me under the bus, my gut is pulling for Oneida but my brain is telling me otherwise.

One thing that I noticed last night was how much the Oneida staff was yelling EVERY play to the players on the field. It felt like a pee wee game with that much yelling and "coaching" going on each and every play. Does that happen each week, or were the coaches just pumped up about the playoffs?
