No surprises here. His assistants were not strong enough to walk away, so they will go down too.

When these men, and possibly him, get arrested for this stuff, it wont be the first for Mac McCurry, but I bet he doesnt "check" that box on the applications he fills out either.

 

People get blinded by his record. He wins, but at what cost? How many times has this happened before and he didnt get caught? Them whiskey makers in Lynchburg can tell you about that.

 

Whats most pitiful is that in all likelihood, someone, somewhere, will give this coward another chance at coaching, shaping, and molding young men. What a travesty.

Let the kids play.  Even if no coaches are left and parents have to stand on the sidelines during the game.  Don't punish the kids for the acts of some idiots coaches.

Good post.....but us folkes knows the whole staff and administration all knew of most all of these issues but again parents and true purple lovers knew but none had the ability to do the right thing! The questions comes to mind "If Seq had won" and "If SP had lost" how much would them things effected their seasons and how many youngons would have been wronged? You can't be talking about Mac.  He's done when everything is out and deserves to be.  He's been in trouble everywhere he has been but what he has done in Jasper goes beyond ordering a field house to be painted and paying someone to practice.  He won't even get to coach at North Jackson next year.

If he ordered all of these things then hopefully he will get hit the hardest and be banned from sports. Maybe if this happens, the other guys can get on with their lives. As someone said earlier, if you want to get the snake take off the head. He has messed up these kids seniors years as well as his coaches jobs. This guy is pathetic.
