Roy... I was just wondering if you heard anything at Ronnie's Red Eye about that stray dog Starkey was referring to? He was almost too tired to paint that McCurry mans field house because he was chasing strays. I wonder if he has a bunch of strays? If he does, animal control will not be too happy about this. You think I'm joking, but I'm not.

I asked that man at Ronnies red eye what that mess meant and he said it didn't have anything to do with a durn dog. That Starky man has told on himself. That stray must have go the best of him. You think im joking but im not.

Sounds like his motto may be "if ya aint cheating, ya aint trying". He will probably never work in the state on TN on the high school level again. One good thing is, all of this is sure to blow up even bigger than it is now. Once it gets on the national scale it will get Alabama and Auburns attention and he may just find him a spot coaching on one of their teams.

I guess I do, kind of hard though.  I just hope people in the county might recognize what the top guy has been through in last few years.  My other concern is the kids.  I now feel like these coaches are guilty, but not for me to decide.  Unbelievable!  I did not want to believe something like this would or could happen.  Sorry.

Moore County- Left for bigger school..more money

Marshall County - Politics

Ripley, MS - Getting Divorced - needed change (They tried their best to keep him)

Crockett County- DUI charge (never convicted) forced contract to be voided before starting job.

Louisiana job - School a mess, him and 8 or so teachers quit around same time

Signal - Left to take Marion job (transfer kid was already there when he arrived, came with another coach

And everyone knows about Marion.

Sounds like a pro Mac post to me........... from what I heard some vandalism took place a Moore Co and an assistant coach was thrown to the dogs?

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
