Fork I'm pretty sure I know. Have heard several applicants and it's not even open yet. Names I have heard are reputable coaches. Not sure any are a good fit though. If wrong choice is made a clean sweep of the current staff could occur. A new direction is needed but keeping true to Overton football. Hard to do both at same time. Names I have heard could do one or the other but not both.

You guys heard any names on who is getting interviews? I heard Campbell is the front runner. I think that could be a good fit, Overton needs to get over the "we want an Overton guy".... Campbell is a hard nosed well organized coach.. I think he can keep the tradition of good football going there

I think most Overton people wanted mike Morrison to get the job. However mike doesn't want it. He has made it known. With that said I think most Overton people are over it and want the best coach possible. Personally I think this one is wide open and will be interesting. I see a new face on the Overton sidelines in 2014.

Work, what do u think of mcphail, Campbell and Crawford, and who would u pick from that bunch?

McPhail is a great person and a good assistant coach to have. He gave me my first chance at the high school level to help out. I would want him on my staff if I were a head coach. Not sure he is the right person to lead Overton right now. Time will tell. Campbell is known to be a good head coach. Personally I see him at Antioch next year with Peden. Crawford is a good assistant defensive coach. I would also want him on my staff if I were a head coach. Time will tell with him as well. Between the three I'd go with mcphail or Crawford. Just my opinion though.

Campbell is the only successful one of the three but yet he is left out i dont understand.. and why would he leave to be an assistant to antioch when he was asked to apply for the head job and he didnt cause he liked overton. what other names have you heard?

My thoughts as well, have ppl not notice the downfall of HL since he left as well as how strong they were under his guidance. He is a great coach and cares extremely about his players. He was a great DC in the 90s at stratford when they dominated teams now he cant even get a shot at this one? its really mind blowing to hear this because he doesnt fit the oveton way
