In case anyone missed it, Alcoa handled Catholic (a team alive in the 4A semis right now) 49-7 this year. They beat Fulton (the team that's probably going to knock Catholic out of the playoffs next week) 30-7 the year before that. Cleveland and Fulton the year before that? Check. Maryville the year before that? Check (ouch). Rankin will be the first to tell you that Alcoa has depth issues when competing against the schools with much larger enrollments, but the results on the field speak for themselves.

And that lowerman would be checkmate....

Alcoa is the best defensive team they have faced...by far. They are big & fast. I don't see the U 's defense stopping Alcoa at all.

It will be interesting to see if Alcoa shuts down York. I think they will.

It's funny how you get on a thread with the CAKe fans and all the other school and they never whine and cray as much as you lowerman fans have about open zone and need to move up and all this crap..... I guess next you will want us to play two hand touch or power puff or something maybe we can play soccer or something. Hope players for you guys are tougher than you guys or better yet that's usually where kids learn it from there parents.......
