No you thinking scoring points on Alcoa's freshmen is something to be proud of is laughable. At least 10 teams capable of beating Upperman by 14 pts or more in 3A

3 or 4 of them in district 11 alone

Congrats to Alcoa on their 8th state title in 10 years. They could easily have 10 state titles in 10 years. They're clearly the best Class AA football program in the state.

I think that Alcoa may be the second best team here. CPA had their chances, I don't understand the defensive timeout before half that aided in Alcoas 3 TD. And coming out of a timeout with 13 men on the field to Allow the 4 TD drive to continue was painful. Kids played hard on both sides

Yep and we were ranked #2 all year-much rather have the Gold ball though!

Gary Rankin moved to #2 on the all-time state coaching wins list today. That's awesome. I wonder how many more years he'll lead the football program at Alcoa. He'll be #1 in the not too distant future.
