The refs are garbage in the west also..I don't think its gets any better anywhere in Tennessee.

From youth club and up, its hard to find a good ref....and when you find one, they group him with two idiots!

I wouldn't say either team played great last night....Our guards would've had 100 assists if the ball wasnt fumbled around and turned over....we'd dominate in the paint, then look like we didn't have a clue....This unit could do a smidge better at taking what the defense gives yea and not trying something that's not there....But youth plays in to that a lot...Hopefully we'll put together full games from here on, cause we're gonna need em

We were obviously unmanned and overmatched in this game but if we wouldn't have hit that dry spell in the second, this game could have been close. I still think cloudland can go to sub-state even with their record

We were starting our run in the 3rd and CHS's coach called a timeout.....He did so two more time in the third, and really cooled us off.

IMO, we didn't take advantage of CHS running the triangle-and-two...Id say we'll make adjustments to that also.

 

Oh, BTW, congrats to HHS on being undefeated in the conf...1st time since the '11 team I do believe.

 

Im watching the film of HHS vs Lake Co in 2011 at the boro....A dang good game against a very good LC team...This is a film this unit should watch....Many teaching tools

Most of the refs seem to be getting worse the last 4 or 5 yrs. The old guard retireing. Seems to me they were better when there were only 2 refs per game. Tonights game with Unicoi will be a good test for the Bulldogs, the Devils will be as good as any single A team they will face. A little more intensity and little less flash would serve them well. I agree, take what the other team gives you play smashmouth defense and it will take care of it's self.

Foul shots and missed opportunities doomed the Bulldogs tonight. Need to get it together by tourney time. Take nothing away from Unicoi they are a good team. They should make some noise in the tourney themselves. Could be interesting to say the least. Good luck to the Landers and the Bulldogs next week.

I said the same.....but there's much more to consider.

This lil 1A team lost by ONE to a team LOADED with seniors, AT U.C., on a throw up last second shot...Saw some 40+ men rush the floor and jumping around...Hey men, CONGRATS! Lol

 

This will set the tone for post season...GO DOGS!!!
