We scrimmage today at Bledsoe at 6:00, according to two coaches I talked to.  Be sure and leave early because of the thousand mile yard sale.  Drunken Sailor's dad told me the games would be on WEPG if they can get enough sponsors.  We had some boys get banged up against Tyner, but they should be ready for the regular season.  Healthy players is an unbelievably key factor this year.  Our first 11 can go toe-to-toe with anyone, but after that it gets a little thin.  Fitzgerald is definitely our go-to guy, but C. Blevins, Lily, Adams, and Jones will add enough wrinkles to keep defenses confused.  The "pass catchers" will come around - just a case of first game jitters. Tyner's 41 looked like a water buffalo with small lions jumping on his back.  Our boys need to learn to be more like hyenas going for the heels.

D60 what kind of mess is this?  Our pass catchers have first game jitters?  This is a bunch of mess.  These boys are juniors and seniors.  They have played in games before.  Im not falling for this bunch of mess you have put on here.  Let me ask you another question.  Why did that Moore man not tell anyone our boys were playing at that Reel mans field today?  What kind of mess is this? I am real mad about this mess.  You think im joking but im not.

How did Bledsoe look

Grant it I wasn't there since I was watching Rhea and Signal but I talked to Owensby after the scrimmage from his perspective. He said Bledsoe's O-line did a better job this scrimmage. They controlled the line well. Said the offense is continuing to get better. Said the D-line did a pretty good job as well. Overall it was a very good scrimmage for Bledsoe. I think South Pitt will be fine once the season gets here. It's better to work out the issues and get better now than in the season.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
