 I do agree LC played a great game. Mr Bigster why u think Humboldt didn't deserve to win. The Falcons lead 46 to 39. Humboldt out scored LC 26 to 14 in the 4th quarter! I am taking nothing away from LC they are always a tough out no doubt. U been around the game long enough to know that good teams fine ways to win.

I dont think I said they didnt deserve to win.Said I didnt think LC deserved to lose.Think they were outplayed and only the coaching moves by LC kept them from winning

Bigster, LC probably played the best game they've played all year but let's keep it real, the ref's weren't that good but zlC got away with a lot of fouls especially on Bradford in the first half! Coleman made a lot of circus shots but the difference was that Bradford decided to take over scoring Humboldt's last fifteen (15) points! LC played a great game & the coach did a great job so stop downing the coach! Bradford was the only one that played good for Humboldt & we still got the win, LC shot exceptional last night but Bradfords thirty (30) points was the difference! Humboldt & LC might meet again!!!

I think LC palded well but also LC has a couple players that werent on the team earlier.One just got back a couple games ago.But as far as coaching,I'd think the coach did a great job also if I were a Humboldt fan.Maybe you dont know the Lake Co personel.I would imagine that coach Boykins wouldnt have had Brown,Turner ,etc on the bench with 3 minutes to play.You should have been sitting on the LC side and hearing the fans wondering what was going on with 3 starters on the bench.No rebounders in the game at that point.No shooters.And oh by the way.I guess if you were coaching,you'd not have fouled Mclilly and let 10 seconds run off the clock and foul Bradford.Or change it around.If LC were up by 1 point and Flowers were on the floor and not foul him but foul Coleman instead.Only the coaching last night caused LC to get beat.I also said if they played 10 times,Humboldt may win 8 or 9 out of 10.Last night was the one time LC should have won.Cope knows it,Chipper knows it.All in LC knows it.Didnt happen simply due to coaching .Bottom line.Maybe LC will be too afraid to play the Vikings again and lose to Gibson Co just to stay out of their bracket. .Will be hard to do maybe if the Pioneer players are still suspended.May have to bench Zay,Taylor,Blevins and put in the LC subs.But if they do win.Still would play a zone against Humboldt.And make sure of where Turner and Bradford is the whole game/The others may hit one in a blue moon but I'd take my chances.Just dont give Brown a lay up  though.Bradford's a great player and deserves to be nominated for Mr.Basketball.He is hard to stop for us offensively.But he cant guard Coleman one on one or keep from fouling him and keeping from from getting to the basket without using his body which he got away with most of the night.I cringed when I saw Eric Ward and the short official we call Opie..Pretty sure Ward is from the Gibson co area and years ago got into it with LC fans years ago and had to be escorted out the back door .Even yesterday at work a foreman ask me to guess who was there.I told him I didnt know.He said Eric Ward.Was at Colonial Rubber.A salesman or something.The foreman knew LC fans dont care for him.I told the foreman that he is terrible and hope he is a saleman and wasnt officiating.Then get to the gym and who do i see.Cant wait to get back to work Monday and say to the foreman.You know who officiated our game?..lol But for real that did happen at work Friday.

The turning point in the game was when Bradford started going to the hole & could shoot over LC! I don't think Turner will have another shooting night like that but I could be wrong! LC best chance to beat Humboldt is to keeping playing zone & hope the Vikings are off from the outside but if I was coach Boykin I would attack inside the zone & not worry about shooting 3's!! I agree but Taylor isnt a bad shooter for LC.Agree with your post except for the turning point.The turning point was the coach not putting in his 3 starters with 3 minutes left and having a 4 point lead and one of them falls down twice and called for traveling and the other one shoots an ill advised shot from outside that was a bad time for that shot.We know Turner can shoot .But alos know,if we are to play humboldt,probably better to play them on a neutral court and a court where the Vikings were beaten earler this year .Just talking about last night's game.May meet again and get blown out.LC had their chance last night but would rather lose in the district than in the region.

I know some people don't like Coach Sisco at Union City, mostly from the Greenfield area, however, last night gave me just that much more respect for him and his program. He understood the situation that was going on coming into the game, and from what I understand, worked on things that his team needed to focus on for a deep tournament run and did not worry about beating us by 70 points last night. Props to Coach Sisco and his team... good luck to you guys in the district championship!

Yea im sure Sisco was aware of the situation in GC..He did show some class as the players did as well..UC didnt play very good but I think its kinda hard to get up for that game as a player..GC how long are them guys out?

Chipper I haven't heard from you in this district championship game..my internet has been out and I haven't been able to post much..So what's your prediction on the game tonight? ..I personally hope Humboldt wins a close one tonight. .A 2 seed would be nice for the Tornadoes. .But really if UC beats Humboldt and has to play LC and can't beat them you don't deserve.to get to sub state or state. .But I will say Lake Co.looked awfully good the other night. .Turner had a bad shooting night for the Vikings but Bradford literally beat LC by himself..He. was impressive! ..oh yea..87 where you at?

LOL, I'm here but want be able to make the game tonight, it should be another dog fight between UC & the Vikings but I'm going to go with the Vikings by eight (8). Desonta Bradford took over the game against LC because the rest of the players were just going threw the motion & I hope Turner doesn't havae another shooting night like Friday or the Vikings might be in trouble. It's hard to beat a team three (3) times but the Vikings always gets up for UC games so I'm hoping they come out with some emotions tonight. LC played a great game & hit everything they threw up but it was a good test for the Vikings to fight back & show heart because every game is not going to be a double digit win, when the offense is not clicking they need to still continue to play good team defense. Hopefully, Bradford will continue to play at a high level & if he continues to attack the basket off the dribble, UC better watch out because against LC Humboldt took to many outside shoots intead of attacking the rim. Is UC broadcasting this game on any radio station & if so what is the radio station number?
