Red Rebels
@ 91: A former administrator at MHS went to Hoover a few years back. I thought the MHS Blackman game was a pretty big game. They didn't seem thuggish like Kentucky said they were. I stood in the ticket line on the visitors side on Cedar street with a bunch of BHS fans. On guy kept talking about how nice the police cars were and stuff like that. He was dressed in BHS colors, but sounded like he was from Ohio or Michigan originally. LoveForTheGame
Word is that Hoover is paying Blackman 10k plus AND all expenses

jake
If only we could get Maryville to Schedule games like this I don't think that I would have posted that.....but, thats just me. We have enough to do at WB to get our own ship turned around, not our place to worry about who Maryville does or does not schedule...JMO Edited February 26, 2014 by jake
BackinTN
http://nationalhsfootball.com/2014/02/hoover-to-host-blackman-on-halloween-2014/ Thanks for the link. Quote ..."Bowling Green backed out"... Translation: Cheating cowards tucked tail and showed a yellow streak a mile wide in order to save their little Kentucky football win streak. BG cheated to win the first time with Blackman, ran from them the second. The BG coaches, administration, and officials involved in the BG/Blackman game should all be ashamed for their lack of integrity.
cbg
If only we could get Maryville to Schedule games like thisNot going to happen. It is my understanding that Byrnes (South Carolina) called multiple times wanting a home & away but was told no.

AlcoasPaintedBridge
Outside of its Region foes, Hoover is also scheduled to go on the road to play Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County. That's considering Rush Probst is the OBC for the Packers.....
Governm
Im not being critical of maryville.. Im just saying i wish they would do it because they are good enough and have the means to do it. I would like to see maryville play and beat a Hoover or Byrnes
