Classification Changes....Again

Got the 5 class plan on the table, a new version of the 6 class plan, and a completely new idea it appears.  Anybody got any insight into what this new model might look like?

The 5 class plan sounds like the way to go.......................................for now. I don't see how it doesn't increase to 6 classes again in the future seeing that new schools will be built and schools will increase in student population.

Keep it at 6. Especially if we are going to get there anyway.   I'm for more State Championships.  Plus, I've gotten use to 6.   Just keep the playoffs decisions to district games.   Then teams don't have to travel, win-loss out of district does not carry that much weight.

I'm becoming more and more for a Public-Private school split. It would settle the debate once and for all.

     The issue will never be setttled until the split happens.These small privates in highly populated areas have the ability to dominate. It really just comes down to the mission of the school.

I would try to stick with 5 after the eventual split if I were the TSSAA. 5 in that case would take account of new schools and increasing population.

You're right, it will settle the public/private debate once and for all. But then people will be whining about open-zoned schools.
