MountainTroll
So the top four from each "region" go to the playoffs, then what? Will Region 1 play Region 2 or will the 32 get seeded into a bracket? Will the 1's get seeded, then the 2's, then the 3's, then the 4's? Do the seeding criteria stay the same or will they change? This whole move up a class thing is messed up, because they say all five classes will have equal numbers. If 4 teams move up from say 3A to 4A, that will mean the the lowest four enrollments in 4A will get bumped down to 3A. And this whole 5A/6A move up swap deal is messed up. If 6 teams want to move up to 6A and only one wants to move down, who determines which of the 6 gets to move up? The details are sketchy, which means this will be a cluster cluck of epic proportions. Then there is the whole public/private split question. I bet the T$$AA will say they are so busy sorting out the Super 6 fiasco that they can't take up the public/private question right now. MountainTroll
@Indian, so you say within the region 1vs4 and 2vs3, then winners play to get a "Region Champ"? Then what? Region1 vs Region2, etc? Edited August 12, 2014 by MountainTroll
Indian
Yes, 1 would play 1 in round 3 if both won their first two games. Home field would probably swap odd and even years if both teams had been seeded the same.
BCsportsfan
They had Catholic in 5A but from what I've been told the Irish will remain in 4A. Their student numbers are down (625 students). Even with the multiplier KCHS numbers would be 1125. Don't be so sure of that...........Catholic will be 5A with Maryville. Ha.

MountainTroll
I think I heard Tommy Layne say yesterday that we just had to pass this "Super32/Super6" plan to find out what was in it. I recon the details will be worked out by "Executive Order".
TynerRamFan
Happy to hear about the change and returning to format used 4 years ago..we will finally have a chance to host a playoff game(after not hosting when either winning or being the runner-up in our District). Won't be penalized for playing "up" either!!
